The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has won the Oju/Obi House of Representatives election in Benue State, Concise News understands.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) declared David Ogewu of APGA as the winner of the election.
Ogewu beat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to clinch the seat with many of his supporters thronging his house in celebration.
In a related development, the APC and PDP in the state have been accusing one another of trying to rig the governorship election on Saturday.
The PDP had accused the APC and the federal government of trying to use the military to rig the elections.
On the other hand, the APC alleged that the presence of the military is needed in the North-Central state to halt PDP’s plans to retain power by all means.
