Christian Groups Begin 16 Days Thanksgiving Worship For President Buhari’s Recovery…

To celebrate President Muhammadu Buhari’s recovery from ill-health that kept him in London for over 100 days, ‘Halleluyah Nigeria’ in conjunction with Nigerian churches and Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International, will on Thursday, kick-off 400 hours of non-stop praise and worship to God.

The praise and worship session will also celebrate Nigeria’s exit from economic recession as well as the country’s 57th Independence Anniversary.

The Coordinator of the programme and the Chaplain of Aso Rock Villa Chapel, Pastor Oluseyi Malomo, said that over 140 church choirs as well as gospel artists are expected at the event which kicks off September 14 at 8am and will end by midnightpreceding October 1.

He informed newsmen in Abuja that the event is a follow-up to last year’s 365-hour non-stop praise which was to mark the first anniversary of the Buhari administration and to seek God’s help for the administration and the country to overcome the economic recession of the country.
Malomo said funds for the programme are voluntary donations from individuals and members of the Christian Association of Nigeria.

According to him, during the 16-day programme for this year, the first 343 hours will hold at Sharon Ultimate Hotel, in Abuja while the last 57 hours will hold at the National Christian Centre.

“The Hallelujah Nigeria in conjunction with all churches and fellowships in Nigeria are therefore organising this exceptional and record breaking praise event to thank this good God who has proven that He holds our nation dearest to His heart”, he said.
